WHITNEY HESS

After receiving my M.F.A in Film and Television from Savannah College of Art and Design I began to learn the processes of archiving and digitally restoring legacy content ranging from 16mm to MII Tape formats. Everyday I am inundated with priceless cinema history. Getting to restore frame by frame films ranging from Charlie Chaplin to the famous Rocky Marciano, Joe Louis knockout. When not restoring classic content, I have cultivated a passion for production work. Cinematography and lighting have driven me to create award winning films, documentaries, and commercials. Along with the passion I have for filmmaking, I also enjoy running, being outdoors and playing with my dog. I hope to one day cook a three course meal with Alton Brown.
